AirMMax porous pipe is designed to work at low pressures of between 4 and 12 psi and is ideal for use with water butts or other low pressure installations. When connecting to the mains，you should always use a pressure regulator.

Tips:

To prolong the life of your porous hose you should

Protect from strong sunlight - bury hose under mulch

Ideally bury to a depth of 30 - 40cm

Keep porous hose protected from frost - bring indoors in the Winter months

Also note that if your water source is heavy in lime, you should either use an in-line filter on the hose or better again, only use water that has gone through a water softener to help prevent clogging of hose pipe.
